On July 24, The Department of Accounting received the Gold Award for Excellence in AI Computer Auditing Education at the 2026 Compliance Technology and Computer Auditing Summit Forum, recognizing its outstanding achievements in cultivating interdisciplinary professionals equipped with both accounting expertise and AI application skills. In addition to the department’s achievement, Dr. Chih-Hao Yang, Chair of the Department of Accounting, was honored with the 2026 Outstanding AI Computer Auditing Educator Award in recognition of his contributions to AI computer auditing education. Furthermore, three students, Chih-Lei Wang, Yu-Hsiu Lin, and Tzu-Tsui Fu, ranked among the top 3% nationwide in the JCCP AI Computer Auditing Software Application Specialist certification examination.
