Brief History<\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
This department originated from the Accounting and Statistics Department of Ming Chuan Women's College, established in 1957. Initially, it only had a three-year curriculum and was one of the earliest departments established at Ming Chuan Women's College. In 1990, it was renamed as the Department of Accounting and started accepting male students. In 2003, a master's program was established, and in 2013, an in-service master's program was added. In 2017, the School of Management was accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The department is committed to improving the quality of faculty and learning environment. Since 2018, the undergraduate program has been divided into the Accounting and Auditing Group and the Tax Planning Group, with the goal of cultivating students' core competencies.<\/div>
