Year	Milestones
1957	The Accounting and Statistics program of Ming Chuan Commercial Junior College for Women established this year and started to offer a 3-year associate degree.
1964	The program began to offer a 5-year associate degree.
1990	Ming Chuan Commercial Junior College for Women was renamed Ming Chuan College of Management and admitted students through the Joint Entrance Examination of Universities and Colleges. Since then, the department has been renamed the Accounting department.
1997	Ming Chuan College of Management was upgraded to Ming Chuan University.
2003	Launched the graduate program.
2008	Obtained accreditation both undergraduate and graduate programs from Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council.
2010	Ming Chuan University obtained accreditation from the Middle State Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE).
2013	Launched the part-time graduate program.
2015	Obtained accreditation both undergraduate and graduate programs from Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council.
2016	Ming Chuan University re-accredited under MSCHE for 10 Years.
2017	AACSB Initial Business Accreditation Ratified by the Board – 2017.
2018	Recruit undergraduate students in two groups, auditing and tax.
